Magical Room Makeovers offers Home Sales Staging services working with both the seller and the realtor. We advise the homeowner how to prepare the home so it will be clean, uncluttered, and attractive to prospective buyers.

Studies have shown that homes that are Staged sell faster, and often sell for a higher price than the original asking price. By seeing a home staged, potential buyers are able to imagine their own furnishings in the new space.

When we stage a home, we reposition the furniture, add lighting, hang artwork, arrange accessories to accent details, and create “curb appeal” so the home will be ready to show. We use the EXISTING furnishings unless a home is vacant, and then we arrange for a home to show with furniture.

FEES: We begin by meeting with the homeowner and the realtor for a walk-through of the home to discuss its assets. We also help the homeowner develop a list of needs to be done. During the consultation, we offer suggestions and tips of how to prepare the home for sale, if the homeowner chooses not to use our Home Sales Staging services. A consultation usually takes 2 hours, depending on the size of a home and the list of needs. The fee for this consultation will be quoted upon request. If the homeowner chooses to use our Home Sales Staging services, we will prepare an accurate price quote. It will be dependent on the size of the home, whether professional movers are required, if furniture is needed, and also if assistants will be employed. The fee will be quoted for a half day or a full day rate.
